Welcome to our school website. We hope you find it both informative and reflective of the vibrant, purposeful community that defines life at St Brendan’s Primary School. Within these pages, we aim to provide a clear picture of the rich learning experiences, positive relationships, and shared values that make our school a place of high-quality education and meaningful interaction.
At St Brendan’s, we are committed to excellence in all aspects of teaching and learning. Our school is not only a space for acquiring knowledge, developing skills, and exploring new ideas, but also a nurturing community where learning is shared, celebrated, and supported. We place great importance on the well-being and individual needs of each child, ensuring that every pupil feels valued and enjoys their educational journey with us.
St Brendan’s is a place where children grow in friendship, confidence, and lifelong learning. As they leave us at the end of sixth class, our hope is that they are well-prepared—academically, socially, and personally—to embrace the next stage of their education and the broader path ahead.
We are immensely proud of the work we do and the community we foster. On behalf of all the staff, it is my pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to our website.

Safeguarding
At our school, we are deeply committed to creating an environment where every child feels valued, supported, and safe. We work proactively to protect learners from harm, promote their health and development, and ensure they grow up in surroundings that provide safe, nurturing, and effective care. Our goal is to give every young person the best possible start in life, empowering them with the confidence, wellbeing, and opportunities they need to thrive and transition successfully into adulthood. Central to this commitment is our dedication to ensuring that all our settings and services take the right steps to keep children safe—and just as importantly, that every learner genuinely feels safe, secure, and able to flourish within our school community.
